Saturday Eye Candy: Port Susan Farmer’s Market

With live music often playing in the background, you walk around, admiring all the local artisans and farmers have brought to share with their community. From appetizers, to salads, entrees, desserts, even breakfast, they have it all! Tons of fresh vegetables, fruit, berries, chicken, beef, pork, eggs, wine, spices, bread, cheese and sweet treats.

Farmer’s Markets are the ultimate “shop local” experience. Yesterday my sister took her 3 boys and sent us these photos to share. One thing I really love is experiencing the market with my kids. As Moms, we get to teach our kids life-long habits. When we wander the market with them, they experience firsthand how important it is to support our local growers.

These pictures are from The Port Susan Farmer’s Market, located in Stanwood WA. This market is every Friday, June 5th-October 16th, from 2-7pm.
