A Call For 2016 Resolutions, Goals, Plans and Dreams 3

The other day, I posted this photo on our Facebook page and on Instagram. That same night, I sent  out an email to a few ladies who have personally inspired me since starting NW Healthy Mama,  asking them if they’d like to contribute to a big 2016 kick-off post. Days later, I was sitting at my computer tearing up, reading the responses from women around our area. YOU ladies are filled with some of the best things. You’re allowing yourselves to make plans, think big, make necessary changes  and prepare for growth. Your thoughts for 2016 are full of hope and they are beautiful and encouraging to read.  2016What if, as a community of women, we went into the New Year expecting the best for ourselves and for those around us? What if we carefully looked at our lives and pinpointed what’s good for us and what’s weighing us down? What if we created realistic plans to do more of what we love and what if we made changes to eliminate things that are no longer good for us? What if we committed to loving more bravely and allowing ourselves to rest? What if we recognized the power of friendship and remembered how every person has a desire to be known? Inside all of us are treasures and limitless potential.  What if this year, we set the bar high and we actually went after what we’re created to be?

No matter what your thoughts for 2016 are composed of, I want you to be able to be part of this post….or posts. At this point, there are so many amazing words from woman around the area, that we might be breaking the posts up into Part 1, Part 2, etc…. Welcoming 2016 and celebrating the new year might take all week and I’m more than okay with that! 20161

What’s on your heart for the new year? Send me an email and share your thoughts- be sure to include a picture, too. With the new year comes a blank page and the possibilities are endless. As a community, lets gather, share our goals and encourage one another!

I am committing to do things “out of love”, not “duty”! To me, this means paying attention to my feelings and moving forward through each day in awareness and appreciation of each God given moment. This attitude helps me honestly take care of myself and others.with joy!
