When I started NW Healthy Mama a year ago, I knew it’d be an exciting journey, but I had no idea how many incredible people I’d meet along the way. Meeting people “from the internet” in real life just isn’t as weird as it used to be. It’s not that I ever set out to make a bunch of friends I met through blogging—it’s that I could tell these people were so awesome, I couldn’t help but become real life friends with them. Gals like Rachel, Andrea, Portia, Carleeh, Bethany, Kelly and Lena are just a few of the inspiring, real and encouraging friends I’ve made along the way. I’ve loved how they support each other, dream big, put action to the things in their hearts and make friendships with other women EASY.
When Portia recently invited me to an event she hosted with Zico Coconut Water and Flywheel, I was all over it. Group fitness is my jam. I love it. (And Portia is super fun, too) Working out with positive and fun people energizes me. Group fitness makes me want to do my best and whenever we workout, we should always give it our all, because hey- let’s not waste our time.
Together as a group, we did the Fly 45 class…
